Interchange notes
Do not assume direct interchange with the later 2.7L G6BA Sonata engine or other G6BV applications. Verify model year, production date, transmission, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, oil pan, mounts, wiring, sensors, emissions equipment, accessories and original equipment part numbers.

Verify the complete 17-character VIN, production date, engine displacement, transmission and physical engine-code marking before ordering.
Additional notes
The later Sonata changed to a 2.7L V6. Do not combine this 2.5L application with the existing G6BA records based only on appearance or displacement family.
